Transfer Hub_
Plan equipment moving directly between jobs, then transfer the actual booked-out stock when it is ready to leave.
Transfer Hub has two connected workflows: Planned Transfers in Order View and Transfer Out in Detail View. A plan records the route, date and quantity; completing Transfer Out moves the selected serialised assets or Bulk Stock to the destination Opportunity.
What It Does
Plans incoming transfers from a source job or outgoing transfers to a destination job, using overlapping jobs and matching products
Checks source quantities and duplicate routes; Include items that are not short and Include child accessories extend the equipment available for planning
Shows planned quantities in route bubbles and Transfer Active summaries, with incoming and outgoing arrows
Includes planned movements in projected availability and shows any shortage remaining after the planned coverage
Keeps real Allocated, Prepared and Booked Out states visible; completed transfers retain directional transfer history
Lets you edit quantities and dates, delete plans, and copy or print reports with route, item quantities and transfer weights
Transfers selected fully Booked Out serialised assets and eligible Bulk Stock; Group Booking rows are skipped
Offers matching planned routes and quantities, allows asset selection where required, and reduces the remaining plan after successful transfers
Retains unfinished source check-in work so Finish check-in can complete it without transferring the same stock again
Can restore a missing Transferred status label for an older transfer; Restore status changes the display only
How To Use It
In Order View, open Transfer Hub from the Hub menu and choose whether the transfer is into or out of the current job.
Select the linked Opportunity and Transfer execution date. Tick the required products, review quantities and accessory options, then select Create Selected Transfers.
For one product, use its row menu’s Add to transfer option. Edit or Delete an existing plan rather than creating a duplicate route.
Check the route bubbles, Transfer Active panel and remaining shortages. Use Copy report or Print report for the warehouse paperwork.
On the source job, allocate, prepare and book out the physical equipment, then change to Detail View and select the exact assets or Bulk Stock rows.
Open Transfer Hub and choose Use planned transfer, or Choose manually for another destination. Complete any asset selection requested.
Review the destination, transfer quantity, source check-in choice, Free Scan and Mark as Prepared options. Select Transfer, then confirm Yes, Transfer.
Allow processing to finish and review both jobs. If stock moved but source check-in remains unfinished, use Finish check-in for that outstanding work.
Current’s Auto Return Serialised Rental Stock setting can complete serialised stock automatically; Hub also handles the applicable source check-in steps. Review any reported failures before trying again.
💡 Why it’s useful:
Transfer Hub separates advance planning from the physical movement of stock. It makes coverage and routes visible before dispatch, keeps the remaining plan aligned with completed movements, and reduces unnecessary warehouse returns between jobs. Confirm destinations and selected stock carefully because completed stock movements cannot be reversed automatically.
