Lost & Damaged Hub_
Lost & Damaged Hub is designed to help you quickly identify, review, and act on lost or damaged assets already recorded against an Opportunity, without digging through individual item rows or return screens.
It scans the Opportunity for assets marked as Lost or Damaged, presents them in one clear popup, and gives you safe tools to copy, log, or correct their status, all from a single place.
It’s ideal for warehouse and returns workflows where losses are easy to miss, notes need adding, or damaged items need resolving before they slip back into circulation.
How it works
Lost & Damaged Hub_ scans the Opportunity and looks for assets that have already been marked as Lost or Damaged in Current RMS.
It automatically groups results into:
Lost assets
Damaged assets
For each item, the hub shows:
Asset name and number
Quantity affected (including bulk assets)
Parent item context (for kit or grouped items)
Existing damage notes (if present)
From the hub you can:
Select individual or multiple items
Add or edit damage notes directly
Change return state (OK / Damaged / Lost) safely
Copy selected items as plain text
Add selected items back into the Opportunity item list under a dedicated Loss & Damages group (with optional replacement pricing)
All updates are applied cleanly and safely, preserving existing quantities and avoiding accidental data loss.
To use it
Open an Opportunity.
Under the Actions panel, click Lost & Damaged Hub_.
The hub scans the Opportunity and lists all Lost and Damaged assets.
Review the items found:
Expand details
Add or edit notes
Select the items you want to act on
Choose your action:
Change State to correct asset return status
Copy as Text to share or log externally
Add to Item List to record losses on the job (with optional replacement pricing)
Close the hub — all changes are saved directly back to Current RMS.
💡 Why it’s useful
Lost & Damaged Hub_ removes the guesswork from handling losses and damage. Instead of hunting through rows, popovers, and return screens, everything is surfaced clearly in one place.
