Inspection Hub_

Inspection Hub brings all equipment inspections into one place, whether you’re running inspections live in the warehouse or importing results from external testers and software.

It keeps inspection records accurate, up to date, and fully synced with Current RMS without spreadsheets, duplicate entries, or manual admin.

Quick Test

Quick Test guides you through fast, step-by-step equipment inspections directly in your browser. Inspection types are pulled automatically from Current RMS, so you always know exactly what needs checking for each asset.

How it works

  • You must have an Inspection set up in Current RMS (for example LOLER or PAT) with the correct inspection types assigned. Inspection Hub uses this configuration to run the test.

  • Scan or type an equipment barcode to load the inspection for that specific asset.

  • Each inspection step is answered Yes or No or enter in a result.

  • Quick Pass logic:

    • If all checks are answered “Yes”, the inspection can be passed instantly.

    • If any check is answered “No”, the inspection cannot be quick-passed and must be reviewed manually.

  • Press the space bar to Quick Pass when all answers are “Yes”, keeping inspections fast and fluid.

To use it

  • Open Inspection Hub from the Hub menu an click Quick Test.

  • Scan or type the barcode of the item you want to inspect.

  • Work through each inspection step, selecting Yes or No.

  • If all checks are Yes, press the space bar or click Pass to Quick Pass.

💡 Why it’s useful:

Quick Test speeds up inspections without cutting corners. Good items fly through with Quick Pass, while anything questionable is automatically stopped for review keeping inspections fast, consistent, and compliant.

Import Inspection Results

Inspection Hub also lets you import inspection results from CSV files or Google Sheets, making it easy to bring data in from external testers, PAT machines, or third-party inspection software.

How it works

  • Import inspection data from:

    • CSV files

    • Google Sheets (shared view-only)

  • Select the inspection type and source format.

  • Inspection Hub maps incoming fields into the correct Current RMS inspection structure.

  • Existing inspection records are checked automatically:

    • Older results are ignored

    • Newer results replace outdated inspections

    • Duplicate inspections are avoided entirely

To use it

  • Open Inspection Hub from the Hub menu.

  • Choose Import Inspection Results.

  • Select the inspection type and source format.

  • Upload a CSV file or paste a Google Sheet link.

  • Click Create inspection results — Hub handles the rest.

💡 Why it’s useful

It removes manual re-keying, prevents duplicate inspection records, and keeps your inspection history clean and trustworthy, even when results come from multiple sources.
